Christmas!!

Ian had a great Christmas. He woke up and opened presents on Christmas morning and had a ball. He got a Kangroo Climber because he has discovered that he can climb on anything and everything. He just plays and plays on it and even now has started to climb over the side of it. He is a little dare devil


He also got a motorized Jeep which he thinks is pretty cool. He has quite figured out how to work it but he loves it all the same.

Needless to say after all the excitement he was all tuckered out and found a nice comfy place in Grandpa Stan's lap.

Catching up

So it has been a long time since I posted anything new. Sorry about that. So here a few pics to catch up.
Ian at Halloween. He was the cutest dog on the block. He loved trick or treating. We just went around our neighborhood. We let him walk a ways and he just thought that was pretty fun. And all the people talking to him and giving him candy well that was just awsome.
We had to bribe him with a sucker in order to get him to sit still to paint his face.
Ian in his wagon. His daddy pulled him around in the back yard and he had tons of fun.

Party Time!

We can't believe Ian is already turning 1!! Time really does fly. Here are a few pics for the party w/ more to come.
The cake was awesome. It was hard to actually cut it and eat it. It was perfect.
The beginning of the presents. When the party ended it looked like a toy factory had exploded in our house.

Ian helped open the presents for a while but then there were just too many to play with so we pretty much lost his attention.

The Cake!!!!!!

The Beginning - not looking too bad at this point. He was a little slow to just dig in. He wasn't real sure about his hands being covered in icing.

The end - not looking so cleanable. Needless to say we had to just throw him in the bath tub and ended up w/ pink water. He loved it though.
He might be a little embarrassed that he made such a mess of himself in front on everybody. (ha ha) .

The many faces of excited

We call this Ian's excited face. He started doing it all on his own but know if we do it he will follow.

Jello Fun!!

We gave Ian some jello and he thought it was more fun to play in than to eat. By time he was done messing with it it was no longer jello but just red liquid. He went from a little messy to stained red nose!!



How he got to be such a mess was putting his head down and going back and forth on his highchair, as his Aunt Kim said like windshield wipers.

This was the final result needless to say all that red did not come off for a while.

Too excited

A day at the park

We took Ian on his first trip to the park today and he loved it. His favorite thing was the slide.

Once he got down the slide he thought it was fun to turn around and climb back up it to go again.

He thought it was lots of fun to go down with daddy (he could go down the bigger slide that way!!)

Ian decided it would be fun to climb inside this little basket. He sat there for a while just looking at us smiling and then just started to play until he finally fell out.

Wrinkley Nose.

Sorry it has been such a long time since I put anything new on. This little guy keeps us really busy. He got his cast of and everything is fine. It was just a sprain, no sign of a fracture. He is walking and into everything!! As soon as I able to get some good video I will post it. He has just started a new daycare this week and we love it!! It is so much better!! He is the only boy in his room so he has tons of girlfriends already.

No No!

His new thing is shaking his head no. He gets a little out of control sometimes but he thinks it to too much fun.

In the pool

Ian got a pool this past weekend. We felt bad for him because he hurt is arm so he got some cool new stuff one of which was the pool. For those of you wondering about his arm, no it is not broken. He feel and hurt it. We are not really sure how. He is trying to walk and is falling all the time. They put a cast on it only for two weeks just to let it heal and keep him from hurting it anymore. He is fine, I think it was harder on us than on him. As you can see he doesn't even act like the cast bothers him. He gets it off next week. They will take more xrays to ensure that it wasn't a small fracture(a fracture won't show up on xrays for 2 weeks). Anyways Ian loved his pool but wasn't crazy about the spraying fountain that it had.

Ian just had his first Popsicle and of course he loved it. When Joey wasn't giving it to him he was going to get. He was so cute, blue mouth and all.
